On Tuesday, we introduced the first half of the Florida SHOTS field team. Our Florida SHOTS™ field team works with health-care providers, software companies, immunization coalitions, and others all over the state of Florida to build a comprehensive immunization registry. Our field staff works diligently to help offices maximize the benefits of Florida SHOTS, and we wanted to share their contact information with you and a little bit about each of them. Please join us in welcoming the field team.
Ruth Bien-Aime:
Ruth is the newest member of our field team and will be working as the regional coordinator for Broward and Palm Beach counties and surrounding areas. Ruth is looking forward to helping health-care providers get the most out of Florida SHOTS.
Corina Meyers:
Corina is the regional coordinator for the Miami area and she stays busy working with practices throughout south Florida. Corina continually strives to ensure every visit to a health-care provider results in a confident staff, armed with the knowledge they need to use Florida SHOTS effectively and efficiently. Amazed by the way the vaccination landscape has changed since she was a child, Corina feels the 24/7 access to immunization records is the most significant benefit of Florida SHOTS. continue reading »

When she is not on the road, Keenan is busy enrolling practices over the phone and tracking utilization levels in her territory.
Dianna Gosendi:
Dianna is the regional coordinator for the Jacksonville area and is always impressed with how Florida SHOTS can make tracking immunizations simpler for health-care providers and patients. As our longest-tenured regional coordinator, Dianna has watched the registry’s functionality grow over time through data upload, electronically certified 680s, and access to schools and daycares. continue reading »

Question:
An “Open Session” message sometimes appears when I try to login to Florida SHOTS, and I’m not able to continue logging in. What causes this?
Answer:
Most often offices get the “Open Session” message because they didn’t sign out of Florida SHOTS during their previous visit. If you “x” out of the window instead of clicking “Sign out” and the system has not timed out, it will still see your account as having an open session. To prevent this, click “Sign out” each time you finish using the registry.
