Florida SHOTS™: Keeping SHOTS in Check

PCV13 is now available as a selection on the Reminder Recall report. It is located under the “Include Only Specific Series or Vaccines” radio button.

We have added in red a note to alert providers that they may use PCV13 as criteria now.

Once they select the “Include Only Specific Series or Vaccines” radio button they will see at the very bottom the new PCV13 checkbox. Check the box and click “Start Search” to run the report.

Tdap is also available as a selection on the Reminder Recall report.

As soon as you login to Florida SHOTS and search for a patient, an alert window will pop up if the patient is overdue or due for shots.

If the patient’s immunization status is up-to-date, this screen will not appear.

Protecting adolescent health is such a priority that the Florida Bureau of Immunization invited kids and teens ages 11 – 18 to create a 30-second public service announcement (PSA) about why HPV or meningitis vaccinations are important to teens. Teens and tweens throughout Florida responded with great creativity – from dance to drama, and humor to seriousness.
