published by: Kate H.We are pleased to share a free webinar series offered by the Florida Bureau of Immunization now available for CME/CE credits. One of the modules focuses on herd immunity and using Florida SHOTS and the Florida Vaccines for Children program to maximize immunization levels.

Module 2: We’re In It Together: Herd Immunity and Completing Immunization Coverage
This webinar defines and explains herd immunity, addresses vaccine-preventable disease outbreaks throught the U.S., describes incidences of vaccine-preventable diseases that were once considered eliminated or controlled but are now causing outbreaks, and defines the benefits of participating in a statewide immunization registry such as Florida SHOTS and in the Florida Vaccines for Children Program.
The series has been approved for Continuing Education (1,2) and Continuing Medical Education (CE/CME) for Physicians. Each learning module is approved for .5 credits if it is viewed and a post-test/evaluation is submitted with a passing score of 80% or greater.
