Module 8 - Pediatric Perspectives: Dr. Schaechter Speaks on Keeping Patients on Track with Vaccines
Dr. Schaechter, Associate Professor of Pediatrics, Miller School of Medicine, UM, describes the impact of childhood vaccines across the lifespan, identifies the effects of childhood vaccine-preventable diseases, teaches about recommended adolescent vaccinations, identifies the reasons adolescent immunization rates lag behind childhood immunization rates, and discusses why school vaccination requirements don’t equate to full vaccination coverage.
